I love maps. Not long ago I made a Save The Date magnet using an old map. I have been collecting old maps and a couple of very old geography books and started playing with the idea of making a set of printable map labels to share with my blogging friends. Initially I was only going to make printable map labels of Texas and Louisiana, but the obsessive part of my personality took over. I have made labels for most of the states in the USA. I have had so much fun making them and can’t wait to share these printable map labels with you.
At first I envisioned these as decorations for the top of jars. I thought it would be fun to use these when you can or cook and want to share with your friends and family. That is where the “Made With Love In…” slogan came from. I designed the labels without words so they could be crafted into what you needed to fit your crafting needs. They will make great save the date cards, magnets or reminders. They can be used on canning jars. The blank label can have text added or they can be hand written.
Most of the printables look like the label above (without text). Text can easily be added using your favorite program. I love PicMonkey and used it to add text to all of these labels.
Additional graphics could be added to the printable map labels to give additional information such as dates and flavors.
Besides being great on the top of jars they can also be used on the front of jars. I added some to these pint jars for a cute look.
If you can these would be great presents for friends and family in other states. The jars could be filled with small cookies, cookie mixes, jams, jellies, salsa, etc. The list is endless. Theses are projects that could be started now to have ready for Christmas later this year. How fun to gift a jar with a label that is so unusual and special.
This would also be a good time to start shopping garage sales, Goodwill, estate sales for unique and cheap containers to gift your jars in. This red wooden box was bought for less than a dollar and painted red. Add a bow to the handle will it with jars full of goodies with these cute labels and you have a great gift for any occasion.
These and many more can be downloaded from the following places:
States pg1, States pg2, States pg3, States pg4, States pg5, States pg6, States pg7, States pg8
If I have not made a printable for your state please leave me a message and I will do it next. My goal is to finish all 50 states this week.
If you use any of these printables please send me a picture. We work hard at printables and would love to see them used.

I love these map labels! I’ll keep watching for NY (I’m from Lake Champlain region in northern NY) We have maple syrup and Macintosh apples here 😀
Thank you for doing this for your readers. It’s the best jar top label I’ve ever seen.

I love that you love maps it seems as much as I do! Can you see if you can find Oklahoma in the same format as the ones above? I really like the colors and the style of the maps that you have posted.
Thank you!
I love these map labels I make lots of jam and sauce for my late mum’s nursing home and also as presents they would look great on the lids as well as advertise where the produce comes from. Unfortunately I live in Victoria, Australia. Cheers. Wendy
