40 Pies for Pi Day!
There are few things that I like more than I like Pies! I am not a cake eater so Pies are definitely my go to sweet! So any holiday where I get to celebrate Pies is the holiday for me!
According to piday.org “Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159.” And according to Wikipedia, “Pi Day has been observed in many ways, including eating pie, throwing pies and discussing the significance of the number π.[1] Some schools hold competitions as to which student can recall Pi to the highest number of decimal places.”
So I am more than excited to celebrate this nerdy and delicious holiday with all of you by sharing 40 Pies for Pi Day! I will also be trying some new pies this week to make sure I celebrate to the fullest!
