I have seen folded paper pinwheel all over during this past holiday season and thought they were hard to make so I did not attempt them. Recently when I was getting ready for Valentines I wanted something cute to add to a cookie centerpiece. I had read a couple of article detailing how to make the pinwheels. Both of them listed tools you would need that included a paper presser to get neat folds and a pleater to get even folds. The tools I used were: 1. sissors to cut the paper in half 2. my hands 3. used twisty from bread 4. hot glue gun
The final step is to cover the middle. This gives your project a more finished look. I covered mine with a Valentine’s Day printable found here.
I attached my pinwheel to a skewer using hot glue and used it in a Valentine Day centerpiece.

Fun pinwheel. It was the perfect touch to your box.
Wow, you made these look simple to make! I, too, have seen a lot of paper pinwheel crafts but I never even thought to attempt them because they look difficult. Yours really came out very beautifully.
