With all the cute punting I have been seeing on Pinterest I have been thinking about how cute punting would be on a serving table. I have seen it attached to the table cloth or hung on the wall behind the table. I was dreaming of a small bunting being part of the table scape. All this thinking meant off to the garage I had to go. When I first started this project my saw was not working. So this is a no saw project.
With all the supplies gathered it was time to create!
These are the unpainted bunting holders. I went with a neutral off white with a dark wax finish.
The bows are Christmas ornament from the dollar store clipped onto the spindles. I am going to use these on a holiday desert table.
They are also useful to hold photos.
This is a picture of the bunting holders in action. They are great for defining a space or adding importance to an object. I used these to decorate for a thank you treat for our grandparent volunteers at the school where I work.
