When thinking about decorations I wanted to make for Christmas an arrow to label foods and other things came into my mind. I started off with an arrow, a base, and a dowel rod.
We started by making the stand with the dowel, the base, and a little knob on top.
I ended up painting this red. I then painted the arrow with chalkboard paint and used red and green paint to make polka dots on it.
I attached the arrow to the stand and it was ready to use!
I think this will be a great way to label foods at parties and potlucks!

I love it! I always want to make signs and little tiny banners for BBQs and potlucks. I never end up doing it because I get too busy in the kitchen. Guess that is what happens when you are not on your own schedule. (kids, hee hee)
